We did not meet Edem during our stay with 2 children and 2 adults. The apartement is located in a very nice area with restaurants, shops and Hyde Park.
But the apartement is small and worn as an old train car. It does not appear leak and clean. So if you are a perfectionist, focuses on hygiene or suffer from claustrophobia, this is not a place for you! The beds are really bad! Otherwise there is what you need. It is a quiet place.
Very nice flat with good location close to everything you want to see in London. The flat was located on a little nice street with a pub, corner shop and bakery, very nice. Few minutes walk from Paddington Station, there are restaurants and supermarkets there.
We stayed at this place for 5 nights. Very tiny place, beds was too narrow for two people and the access was from a very nasty cluttered parking. There was a kitchen and/or restaurant upstairs that was very noisy up to the middle of the night. Dishes were cracked and there was some used sugar and rice and expired cooking oil from previous users. Sheets were not so clean and there was some towel that doesn’t seem good. We don’t like it at all.
Very good place to host if you visit London. Edem makes everything very easy by the way, so fully recommendable.
Good stay in this small flat located in a very quiet street. Very convenient location close to the tube and bus lines. Correctly fitted and clean. My only negative comment: the kitchen of a restaurant is opening in the same court and the evening is fairly noisy, mainly when they clean and dispose the empty bottles...good attention from the tennant.
Great value for money in that location. The flat is small but has everything you need. Edem is was friendly and helpfull. I would book again.
The only positive about our stay was the location, beautiful neighborhood and 5 min walk to bus stop and Lancaster Gate station. The guy that would let us in the apartment, opened a door that led to a parking full of junk and from there the door to the apartment. Small, poorly decorated with used supermarket items left there from previews tenants. There was a problem with the pressure of the water in the shower so we needed the double amount of time to have a shower. No windows, just a spot with glass on it to look like a window and a rusty dirty blind. I find the top reviews for this place very odd.
In general the place was clean, and the heat was fine, we were kept very warm. The owner was polite and helpful and assisted us for something we asked. However, we have visited London many times and we consider this stay was budget at it's best, we paid less for better accommodation, so for its state it was overpriced. Of course this is subject to taste, but personally we wouldn't recommend this place to anyone or visit again, this are what reviews are for anyway.
The apartment is real close to the center of Ljubljana. Clean an cozy, perfect for a couple. The hosts are really nice and helpful. We loved it!!
Visited London with wife and my two girls, 8 & 10. Great location on apartment, but general standard is below what was expected. Not in any what to the extent that is was a problem; it was bright and spacious (certainly big enough for a family or group of friends of 4-6), clean and had all necessary household items, but pictures and rating “oversold” it somewhat in my humble opinion.
All in all we had a great stay and even if Wimdu is overpriced and cannot support such an basic service as issuing a recite for money paid by visitor, I would be happy to revisit the apartment! (Wimdu; not so much!)
Remarkable location, and very quiet. We were very excited to even find an available flat in this area at this very busy time of the year. For two adults and two children the room was quite sufficient, even when spending some nights in the flat resting rather than walking about. I can imagine that it's a different story for four adults. This was our first try at Wimdu so we were delighted to have a clean kitchen and even a washing machine. Very practical and worked fine. Wifi worked better than in many hotels and so did the TV. One thing that did reduce the overall impression somewhat, however, was the shower. It was impossible to take a decent shower without several minutes of ice cold water for each person. It drove us crazy. We did not call Edem to make this remark so maybe the problem could have been solved but I doubt it. We appreciated being able to leave our luggage in the back office at a nearby shop (of which Edem knew the owner) the last day before taking the train. An alternative would have been an expensive service at King's Cross. So globally a quite positive experience; I think we would rent this flat again would we get the opportunity.
