We, my husband and I, think, that the flat was very fine. Very big with 3 rooms and a big bathroom. We stayed for a Whole week and found many good Places to eat in the area or buy food. Very very nice. And Joost was very helpful. You can walk to the middle of the town if you want and like to walk, - or easily go by tram.
If and only if you have problems with stairs, there are som difficult stairs just before the flat. But many flats in Amsterdam demands that you can handle with stairs anywhere. So we learned by walking around.
So we were very satisfied with the flat and the district we lived in.
The pijp is totally the place to be while staying in Amsterdam. We booked Joost's flat because we had an event that we needed to attend close by. We did not know what a lovely area it was and it was a pleasure to walk around. The neighborhood is full of interesting and beautiful buildings, it is filled with pedestrian friendly streets and there are many excellent paces to eat (try Op de Tuin nearby!).
Joost was very helpful and communicated what we needed to know, The flat is pleasant, roomy (for the two of us!) clean and had everything needed for our stay.
We are so glad to see Amsterdam and stay in Spacious and Light Flat in De Pijp. Great location near public transportation stops, shopping , the biggest Amsterdam's market, museums, restaurants. The flat is cozy and feeling of summer house with decoration and everything. We would like stay there our next visit.
I had a nice time, the host is friendly and I enjoyed my stay in the apartment very much. The neighborhood is very nice, and everything I needed was close by. The wifi is easy to get on, and although I had read a review that stated the church bells kept some awake, I had no problem. They were not noticeable at all at night and sounded pleasant in the day. I would certainly recommend the apartment, in fact plan to stay again in June
This apartment was nice, cozy, and spacious. Could use some updates to decor, but it was clean and had pleasant hosts. Location is a bit farther from central Amsterdam, but it was still walking distance for a young couple like us...and there are other nice restaurants and markets nearby that we might not have seen otherwise. The only difficulty was the narrow staircase, which was a bit tough to get all the way to the second floor with luggage. Would recommend to others.
Very spacious apartment in a great area of Amsterdam. A 5 minute walk to the market on Albert Crypt street and local cafes, restaurants and bars of De Pijp. Brilliant area of the city away from the hectic tourist areas of the centre but a quick tram ride into the chaos! After being welcomed in by Lidwien and given keys we were left alone and it felt like the apartment was our own. Great trip.
What a great place to stay- a really good option for a visit to Amsterdam. We had a 5 month old baby with us and it was well set up and laid out for this.
Easy and quick access to the centre, nice cafes and bars nearby as well as a supermarket. It's also a bit bigger than it looks in the photos.
Very lovely home! In pure dutch spirit :-) The house is full of everything needed (pots, towels, etc...) . Appartment very close to the tram; with number 25 and 12 you can go everywhere in Amsterdam. Place full of pubs where eat delicious dutch speciality and a good beer. We will back here, sure!
It is a very cosy and well equipped apartment.
Everything within walking distances including the city centre.
All needed information had been provided fast and we really felt welcome.
We enjoyed the stay and if we come back to Amsterdam we know where to stay.
