A perfect place to stay! Nice apartment with a garden. Next to the subway. In a neighborhood that was lively and safe! We loved staying here. Make sure you also take a day to visit Brooklyn! The host is living on the top floor of the house and is very friendly. He is there is you need advice or help. I recommend this apartment,t to everyone!!
A brilliant apartment. Cosy and warm. Much better and cheaper than hotell.
Incredible flat! Felt like our own home, couldn't recommended this place enough!
We love Brooklyn! Close to all the major sights in Manhattan (20 minutes to Midtown) but a world on ist own with beautiful brownstones, little gardens and friendly people. There are plenty of bars and restaurants with a relaxed atmosphere and multicultural clientele. Strolling through the streets you find little „garage antique markets“ or ateliers with young artists.
The apartment is amazing. Jacqui and David created a cosy space with a lot of fancy details. Coming back to the apartment after a long sightseeing day always felt like „coming home“. Our hosts gave us usefull recommendations and we really enjoyed their warm hospitality. Jacqui and David are like Brooklyn: You just have to love them :o)
The apartment is brilliant and has everything we needed with laundry and cooking facilities, plus a wonderful kitchen!. Just as good as it looked in the pictures, if not better! We very much liked the architectural features in the apartment, and indeed the whole house; beautiful wooden and tiled floors and period mouldings. (We also admired the choice of paint colours in the front room and the bathroom!). David and Jacqui were very kind, and even lent me a shoulder bag which was so useful. We loved the area too, and found people to be so friendly and helpful. For our first visit to the States, it was a great stay!
We have enjoyed the appartement of David and Jacqui very very much. Plenty of room for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids) tastefull fournished. No doubt in our mind to go back there if we would do new york once again and will definitely recommend to friends, 5 minute walk to the metro, 20 minutes to center Manhattan, David was helpfull when needed, towels and everything provided. A+
It is a great apartment, with everything you need when you're travelling with two kids. You can find almost everything just around the corner inkluding the subway to Manhatten.
We will be back soon, that's for sure.
It was amazing! One week in NYC living as an American citizen, buying in normal markets, living in a typical US house speaking with "normal"people! It was really a great experience, so far from conventional hotels lifestyle with the same protocol for customer....
We discovered a new way to visit countries and, from now, it will be THE way to visit a country!
David and Jacqui awaited us despite our 3 hour immigration check delay! We loved the well- accomodated and cosy garden appartment, it was a welcome quiet harbor after our daily visits to the Manhattan and Brooklyn neighborhood. David provided us with lots of visiting and practical tips. Many thanks for the warm hospitality, now we know an excellent to stay in the New York area.
