Great appartment, very big, the beds are oke., we stayed here with 4 persons
It is a very deep appartment , so it is quite dark in some rooms.
We were in Praag when it was 40 degrees; so we glad of the lack windows .
The location is fantastic; in the centre of Praag, close to the beautifull square en shops. At night is was very quiet.
The appartment is not expensive.
Alex (works for Jan ?) was very friendly and helpfull.
However, it a not 5 * appartment:
We could not take a bath, the badplug was missing, also the plug in the kitchen sink.We could only take a shower with the showerhead in our hand.
can opener or corkscrew were also missing.
Only one towel per person for 5 nights
Little things, easy to repair or to improve by Jan?
Location was perfect. Near Metro. The apartment was clean. One night some one knock on the door - twice!!! We were very scaried. We called the police and the came immediately. Didn't sleep that night. Without that night I would give the appartment 5stars!!
We enjoyed staying in Prague.
The good: the location is great. Near the trainstation and the city-centre.
All the main tourist attrations are within walking distance.
The appartment is large, beds were quite comfortable.
It was was quiet which was great. Also the internet connection was very good.
The host Jan was friendly and easy to contact. No problem finding the place.
The bad: the photo's on Wimdu are too good. It doesn't look so nice and fresh as the photo's do. The place is quite dark. I missed a lot of utensels in the kitchen and there were no tea towels etc. at all. I also did not find the place clean.
The bedlinnen was fresh and washed but only 1 towel per person for 2 nights.
Unfortunately the photos do not refer to the reality. The apartments are clean enough, but everything is too old and needs repairing. All the furniture is old and not cosy. The curtains are ragged... That was a bad experience. The only plus was that it is in the centre of Prague and all the sightseeings are nearby.
Comfortable, affordable and conveniently within walking distance of the Old Town, Charles Bridge and all the main tourist attractions. There is a nice kitchen, a dining room and a large living room. There is even a balcony next to the kitchen, but the view is rather depressing. With only one bathroom it may be a little to crowded for 9 people. We were four and it worked good enough. There is also a nice jazz bar next door which has good food and might be a good place to start your visit if you just arrived and are a bit hungry (and longing for a Staropramen). We sure did!
This was a great apartment in a great area of Prague. The flat was situated within easy walking distance of Old Town and Wenseclas Square. We were a group of three staying in the flat but another one or even two could have fitted in (especially if only a short stay).
Jan was very helpful, and was very willing to stick around waiting for us after our train to the city was delayed. The kitchen and rooms were well furnished, and we had everything we needed (even 3 fans which were very useful in the high temperatures we encountered during our stay). I recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap place to rest their heads for a few nights.
We had a great time and I'd recommend booking your accommodation with Jan. Alex met us at the flat and was very helpful. The flat was spacious, clean, everything you need is provided for and because of the perfect location, we could nip back for a quick cuppa throughout the day and briefly put our feet up before the next round of sight-seeing, restaurants and pubs!
I'd also recommend booking a taxi to and from the Airport with Jan.
It was very nice to stay in this apartment! There is a lot of space and a big kitchen to cook! Just the elevator to the apartment was a little scary..
The city is just a few minutes away and the supermarket down the road.
Jan was very friendly and polite. We would stay there for another few days!
Large, light, airy apartment. separate WC and bathroom, so no waiting for people to finish in shower to use the loo. Location can't be beaten - side street so no traffic or tram noise (I've stayed in a hotel in Prague on a tram route - and can tell you they really do run right through the night), yet about a 3 minute walk from Narodni Trida and Narodni Divadlo tram stops (route up to castle) and a 5 minute walk from the heart of the Old Town.
Excellent apartment! Clean, central, all the amenities we needed and plenty of space - perfect for my friends and I. Alex was very helpful in providing me with information regarding the apartment.
