The location was safe, about 1/2 hour with the metro to the center of the city. Not much to do around the place. Bois de Vincent is nice. The place is small, plain and not well maintained, it could take updating and repair.
The appartement was nice and cosy, everything you need for a short or longer stay in Paris. Five minutes walk to the nearest food-store. Metro about seven minutes, nice, safe and calm area. Recommended.
Very nice apartment, I can only recommend it! :) Me and my boyfriend had a great time staying here. The studio is located in a very nice area of Paris, with nice parks, shops and restaurants nearby. The Metro station is only 5-10 min away, and you can reach the city center in 15-20 min. The apartment is small, but clean and cozy; it is equipped with a microwave, hair dryer, iron, plasma TV and WiFi. Before our trip, Christophe sent us all the necessary information (including maps) about the apartment. We didn't meet him, he just gave us the codes for the locks and we could easily enter upon arrival.
Again, a very good choice if you don't mind the small space!
I enjoyed my time in this little studio. The only thing that really bothered me were the water faucets that kept acting a bit funny. Otherwise it's a perfect place for one or two persons staying in Paris. The noise from the street didn't register much and even if it's light in the apartment it's not overly so.
The kitchen is not for the big cooking but it's well equipped and good for smaller dishes.
All in all I enjoyed my stay in this little studio apartment.
nothing to complaint about except from the noise of the neighborhood, you'd better have earplugs
My boyfriend and me stayed for one week in Christophe's appartment in Paris. All in all, we were very satisfied. Nervertheless, we want to give you some useful when having booked Christophe's appartment.
One the one hand, you have to be prepared that it is very loud and bright in the bedroom during the night. There are many cars in the street and the windows are not well insulated. Besides, there is just a simple blind and a thin curtain not really darkening the room, So, if you cannot sleep when it is loud and bright, think of some earplugs and a sleeping mask. Moreover, one socket in the kitchen (just to the left of the sink) does not work and there is no socket in the bathroom.
One the other hand, after having booked the apparment, you receive a really useful information brochure. Though this brochure is very informative and detailed, there are three things missing:
1. Instead of the supermarket "ED Supermarché", there is now the discounter "DIA". There, you can buy cheaply everything you need. When missing something, you can also go to the "Monoprix" very close to the underground station, but the food is more expensive there.
2. In the brochure there is no information which exit you have to take when arriving at the station "Charenton-Ecoels". I remember that we always took the exit "Rue Gabrielle", but to be sure ask Christophe. By the way, the appartment is very close to the underground station and the underground line is well included in the underground system.
3. At first, we had some problems with opening the door of the appartment. After having entered the code, you first have to pull and then push the door while turning around the buttons.
As already mentioned, my boyfriend and me were very satisfied with the appartment. Everything was clean and well ranged. We were offered fresh towels and bedlinen so that you do not have to bring them yourselves. Besides, the kitchen is well equiped so that you can find there everything you need to prepare nice meals. Moreover you can benefit from the TV and the internet acces you can easily use with the information in the brochure. You can also find a telephone in the appartment, but we did not use it.
All in all, we can recommend you Christophe's appartment and are sure that you will really enjoy your trip!
I stayed at this cosy flat for five nights during Easter break 2013 (4th to 8th April) with my family. The room was somewhat huge with nice bed. There was a flat screen TV and mini fridge. The bathroom was clean and had full bath with a shower head too, Room is, absolutely clean, helpful and friendly stuff, pillows were new, which is welcome, and the mattress felt fine, so there are no complaints about the things that really matter. Free Wi-Fi access is available for all guests. I found it this flat is good those who are on a budget and after a good night sleep in a clean, warm environment. I noticed that the owner was very friendly to customers and helpful with any issues.
Good and clear communication with host and the organisation was very good.
Very well described nice flat with small kitchen, clean bath, TV, W-lan and a good opputunity to get to Paris.
