In Nice, you can enjoy a Mediterranean climate with mild temperatures most of the year. You have lots of cultural spots and museums like the Opera de Nice (constructed in the 19th century), the Marc Chagall Museum and the Matisse Museum, among many others. You also have the lovely botanical garden and several monuments and visit cathedrals like Sainte-Réparate, Saint-Jacques, Notre-Dame de Nice and the Russian Orthodox Cathedral.
Salvatore molto disponibile e soggiorno fantastico. Lo raccomando!
Salvatore was very nice and gave us some tips for Nice. He explained everything detailed and was trustworthy. The location and the apartment itself were ok but there was a huge problem with it: when you opened the window it smelled really bad, as if we were living in a cloaca ... We mentioned the problem to Salvatore and he said sorry and hopefully the bad smell vanished until the morning. It was the first night and we thought ok, we wait until the next morning. Because we couldn't open the window the apartment was very stuffy and we had only an electric fan which wasn't a big help. The next morning it was ok so we thought it was good now but soon the bad smell blew up again and it was useless to wait till the smell vanishes. In the four days we opened the window for about 5 minutes. In the corridor outside there was better air than inside the apartment. Unfortunately the apartment was not amazing but sunny all right.
Nice city was amazing and we had a lot of fun but the situation in the apartment ruined our holiday a little. We went unwillingly to the apartment and only to sleep. We left as early as possible and came back as late as possible. I hope the smell-problem is solved until the next guest arrives at the apartment otherwise they would have the same bad expirience like us.
Such a disappointment.
At the time we arrived to Nice, we had to meet Salvatore at the agency he works for. Salvatore was really kind with us and explained very well how to get to the apartment and some other things, such as supermarkets around the area, etc.
When we firstly got the apartment it looked pretty good, the apartment was setted up and clean.
BUT THEN WE OPENED THE WINDOW.
A nasty smell came from the outside, we read about this smell in the street in other comments but did not really give it importance.
The smell was like a mix between cats pee and poo, which made us unable to open the window for the entire stay. To make it worse, the smell sometimes came from the bathroom. In addition, the apartment was very warm and humid. At least Salvatore had the detail of leaving a fan in the apartment.
