We went to New York from 5th to 16th january 2016, in the John's flat, to visit.
The flat is very well located, with the subway; No problem to go tro a place. We recommand this flat for that!
However, we don't recommand it for the reception! We didn't see John or anybody. We had to guess how we open the bathroom !!
In the other hand the flat was very clean all trip long.
Location in Little Italy is perfect for a NY trip. Room was nice, clean and cosy. But: place was fully booked, so in total 8 people stayed there. There's only one bathroom to share with all. So first come, first serve every morning. Cleaning is done every other day. Also only 4 chairs and a small sofa. Not all rooms have windows. This didn't come out in the description.
Host did not show his/her face once.. not at the start and not at the end.. even did not text me back after leaving the appartment. Room (and bed) was much smaller than the pictures. Bathroom also was not what I had expected. All in all, not the best stay I've had. But it's very cheap and the location is excellent.
Everything was good at Mulberry Str. 136.
Well connected with Midtown Manhattan, good Italian restaurants just downstairs.
The booking worked fine and there were no problems with the apartment. The place was clean, we had our own key. Everything worked fine apart from one thing. At one time one of the cleaning staff came and knocked rather aggressively at the door to our room and then used his own key to access the room even thou we were there, before we got the chance to open. He wanted to show the room to someone and I didn’t appreciate that. I also think that we could have been given a change of sheets during our 12 nights visit. But apart from that everything was very good. I have recommended the apartment to others.
The apartment in little italy was cosy and nice. The host has send us verything to know and was very friendly and helpfull.
Many thanks, greetings
I Was in New York for one Week and I Was in this apartment. It's small badroom but really clean, very well equipped the kitchen, and really clean the restroom. Near to te subway, THE restorants too.
Atencion!!! Me estafo.
He toll me one full price and them charge a extra money for my baby. We sleept in one bed.
Also we couldnt use the shower after 11 am and 10 pm.
