Stylish Notting Hill Apartment
|地址||Cambridge Gardens, W10 6HS London, 英国|
Furnished with twentieth century antique furniture throughout, the apartment has double height ceilings and huge windows front and rear which means it floods with natural light. There is a completely separate raised double mezzanine sleeping area. (NB this is accessed via 5 vertical steps so if you have any mobility issues please check with me for suitability) The kitchen is fantastically equipped with a six ring stove dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is super fast wifi and satellite TV and sound system with docking for your ipod so you can play own tunes. Oh and just in case you fancy a cosy romantic night in, the apartment comes with its very own copy of the film Notting Hill!
Close by are some of the best bars, restaurants and shopping that London has to offer. Buy fresh produce on the daily food market or vintage clothes in the numerous small boutiques. Browse the endless antique and bric-a-brac stalls which stretch from Golbourne Road to Notting Hill Gate at weekends. Max out your credit card at the many designer shops on nearby Westbourne Grove, where you will find branches of Ralph Lauren, Paul Smith, Joseph and numerous other high end retailers.
The apartment is also within walking distance of Europe's biggest indoor shopping mall Westfield. And if all that doesn't tire you out the beautiful Holland Park and Hyde Parks are both within walking distance. There's also a great gym on the next street and london cycle hire racks just a minute away.
The main house rule is that you have a great time! However I would ask everyone to be very respectful of my neighbours who are a great bunch of people, so please avoid excessive late night noise.
There is a full instruction manual for the various appliances in the flat and I would ask everyone to read this at the beginning of their stay. It also contains lots of great tips about the local area. The flat is non smoking.

A very nice ( and groovy :) ) apartment in a nice and quiet neighborhood, we had a great time. Tims instruction manuals for the whole apartment were very handy.
This was a perfect place to stay - very close to the Tube (Ladbroke Grove) - and a great pad. It is, as promised a well-appointed place with all amenities, clean sheets and towels and even toiletries all provided. The sleeping arrangements are a bit strange - being in a mezzanine 'pod' above the kitchen bathroom and accessed through vertical sturdy shelves - but once asleep, who cares? Perfect instructions from the owner that were as comprehensive as they were easy to follow. Thoroughly recommended!
We had a great stay in Tims appartement, its a great neighbourhood and Tim was a very nice and thoughtful host. Thanks!
The Apartment was really nice and near to the centrum of London. Also Notting Hill is a nice place. The Apartment is near the Underground station. Also the Self Check in and the Subscription for everything is perfect so for sure you find all you need. A great Tip to stay there if you go to London
We stayed here for a couple of days, for a last minute weekend in London- and the apartment was just fabulous. The location is ideal, close to tube/bus stations etc, and in a lovely part of London.
The apartment itself is a great size, and very well furnished/decorated. Included is plenty of clean towels/linen etc, and a great kitchen with everything you'd need.
The bedroom area overlooks the sitting room, and is accessed by a bookshelf ladder from the hallway. It takes a bit of getting used to, but is a great use of space, and an interesting feature, though might prove an issue for anyone with mobility issues.
Communication with Tim was easy, with quick replies to emails etc, and he was willing to accept our (very) last minute booking.
Will definitely be recommending to friends, and will be staying in the future!
My friend and I had a very nice and pleasent stay at Tim's flat. It was cozy, warm and had everything we needed. The bed was at a very interesting spot, but we thought of it as very funny and a really good way to save space - FUN :D We always felt good to come back "home". The tube station was just about a five minute walk down the road; sainsburys and tesco for groceries shopping as well.
Nathan told us all we needed to know and the check out wasn't a problem as well.
If we had question Tim even took time for us and answered even though he was travelling.
We already said that when we go back to London next time, we'll be staying at Tim's again for sure! Thank you Tim and Nathan :)
The location is really good if you don't want something in the center of the city. Quiet neighborhood with Underground stop (Ladbroke Grove) five minutes walking and near to Portobello Road.
It was a friend of Tim who attended us and he was always on time and correct.
The apartment is smaller than it looks in the pictures, but perfect for a couple. We stayed 6 days and it is spacious for that. Maybe walls and some furnitures are old, but it`s ok.
The bed is hard to get on and off but not overwhelming that it may seem.
It have everything you need to stay, kitchen stuff, shower gel, toilet paper, cleaning products, hairdryer … Good details!
We recommend it. We were really comfortable
The apartment is very nice a very good for a stay of two adults. The only challenge is the bed. I case you have claustrophobia or a weight of more than 100kg (or you are drunk when you go to bed) the climbing of the bed is a real challenge.
The area is nice and -- remember that you are in London and near A40 -- rather quiet.
The contact with Tim and Nathan was very efficient and friendly.
Perfect location for getting around. Loved the style of the flat and the use of space. Nathan was very accommodating both in the check in and out process. All very smooth and easy process with all the mod cons. Would definitely come back again. Thanks Tim and Nathan!
This was a most delightful appartment: Everything was working and in order and exactly as promised. We were expected with the keys and felt like locals of Notting Hill! Tube station Ladbroke Grove ist a 3 min walk, bus # 7 to Oxford Circus almost on the doorstep, the heating and shower work perfectly -- and the whole atmosphere is comfortable and laid back. You should be in a good shape to be able to reach the platform where the bed is -- this may be the only small disadvantage. Thank you so much, Tim, we certainly will come again.
